About
Christine Mazurkiewicz, LMFT – Marriage and Family Therapist
I am a private practice licensed Marriage and Family therapist serving clients across the state of Pennsylvania. As your therapist it is my priority to create a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive change. I look forward to working with you to address challenges and realize your goals. Therapy is a process that can move you toward being the happiest version of yourself and living the life you desire.
Treatment Approach
I use a variety of approaches to address the unique needs of clients. Many successful treatment plans utilize a foundation of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy along with elements of CBT, Experiential, and Family Systems theory. Everything I do is Person-Centered, and I welcome your input on what works best for you as we develop treatment.
There is a growing body of research that supports the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness in psychotherapy. Neuroscience research reveals individuals that practice these techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past. It is my privilege to be invited into your narrative and help you move past what’s causing a struggle so that you can reach your full potential individually and in relationships.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
